This role includes the strategic planning and delivery of settlement services, management and support of staff within the organisation, monitoring and development of case work capacities and assist in increasing funding capabilities within settlement services . These services aim to be provided in a culturally appropriate manner, raise the capacity of under resourced communities and assist and support social and community well being.

The objective of the role is to facilitate orientation and integration of young people of refugee and humanitarian background into the broader Australian community and create linkage to mainstream services.

This role is responsible for the coordination of a team of family support workers. Provide early intervention and family support to newly arrived migrant and refugee families in Auburn LGA (with 0-8 children) to prevent family disharmony and breakdown and build the capacity of these families to better support their relationship needs. The position includes: casework, case management, providing workshops & playgroups, with assistance of bicultural workers that is innovation within the project.
