The Auburn Diversity Services provides services to all migrants & refugees in the Auburn LGA. The services at ADSi are offered in English and other listed languages & cultures.

Bilingual settlement workers are available at ADSi at set times during the week to assist clients with their settlement & other needs. Please contact ADSi to make an appointment with bilingual settlement workers, as they are only available on certain days.

Community Development
The provision of information to different communities through the organisation of information sessions covering topics such as immigration, accommodation and tenancy, income support, employment and health;
+ Advocacy and representation of community needs at consultative community and department network;
+ Support and resource local community groups through the provision of information, project development and training;
+ Organisation and participation in activities to celebrate special events such as International Women's Day, Refugee Week, Auburn Festival, Session Week.
Information and Advocacy Services
Provide information on issues that affect migrant and refugee communities
+ At ADSi we are committed to our clients and act as advocates on their behalf in dealing with their identified needs to ensure that a culturally and linguistically appropriate service is provided to our clients.
Provide Information on cross-cultural issues
+ ADSi networks with various community and ethnic organisations in the Auburn LGA to provide information to mainstream services on cross cultural issues. The staff regularly partake in meetings with service providers to ensure that the issues of our clients are represented and their needs are met in the community.
Promote and monitor access issues for migrants and refugees
+ We pride ourselves in delivering a service that is accessible to migrants, refugees and humanitarian entrants of non English speaking background.
Confidentiality & Impartiality
Whatever you tell us will not be told to any one else without your permission. All sessional staff and interpreters used will also be bound by confidentiality. Our services are not limited to any particular ethnic group and are open to all migrants, refugee and humanitarian entrants.
